A guided night out across Funchal, visiting 3 to 4 bars known for the quality of what they serve, not for their fame on social media. Every bar includes a free shot, your guides open the night with a bottle of fresh poncha for the first toast, and two games run all night with prizes for the winner. It starts at 8pm at Largo do Pelourinho and costs 18€ per person when you book direct.
You meet your guide and the rest of the group at 8pm at Largo do Pelourinho. Before the first bar, the team hands out poncha from a bottle made fresh for the night, so the whole group can share the first toast together.
The route goes through Funchal, not just one neighbourhood, and stops at the bars famous for their quality rather than their social media buzz. You visit at least three bars, and on some nights four, and every bar includes a free shot. Your guide picks the route for the night, so we do not publish the bar names in advance.
Two games run across the whole night, not one per bar. The group plays them between stops and the winner takes home prizes. By the second stop most people are talking to someone new.
Most guests come solo or in pairs and leave with a bigger group of friends. It works if you are travelling alone, want to meet other travellers, or want to see Funchal after dark with people who live here.
