Estreito de Câmara de Lobos is the espetada capital of the island — skewers grilled over bay laurel wood, always with milho frito and bolo do caco. Any restaurant in the area does it well.
Skip the pre-bottled, industrial stuff. Look for poncha made fresh to order with a caralhinho (traditional wooden muddler) — it's a completely different drink.
Fresh limpets (lapas), espada (black scabbardfish) with banana, and tuna steak. Caniçal in general is excellent for fish and seafood.

Yes. Everything except the Pub Crawl and Historical Walking Tour can be paid on the day of the tour, directly to your guide, or the day before by card or bank transfer. Your booking is registered and reserved by us, we always trust our clients. The only exception is the Private Sail Boat Charter, which requires a 50% deposit of the tour price to secure the booking.
Booking directly with us (through our own form or WhatsApp) is always cheaper than booking through GetYourGuide, Viator, or GuruWalk, since those platforms take a commission.
